So they tell me the same thing over again, and this last email that I just got from them was " To check out the forums for an answer." What!!!!Įverything support recommended, I did - a half dozen times over - all to no avail. It seems that each time Luminar support responds to me, it's as if a different person is involved and they seemingly don't have a clue what was previously recommended to me. Well, I'm now at the point where I'm ready to just rid myself of Luminar. But as it stands now, I've never experienced such buggy software. If anyone has any good tips, I'm all ears. All the issues began when I tried updating Luminar 3 and when that couldn't be done, I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled everything - only to now have it freeze and crash. So I uninstalled it and to be honest here, I'm ready just to call it quits with Luminar because I've never experienced such "buggy" software such as this. I couldn't believe this because prior to trying to update, Luminar worked just fine on my system. However, now when bringing up Luminar 3, it freezes and eventually crashes. I then reinstalled Luminar 3 (with the update already included) which seemed to install alright. Then later on this afternoon, I elected to just uninstall the complete program, ensuring that all registry entries were removed. I'm running a very clean Windows 10 64 Bit system with 32 Gigs of RAM. I then tried again, turning off my AV program, etc. OK - so I contacted support (filled out the information regarding this issue). I tried several occasions, but once the install/update window showed 66% complete, I received an error window shown below: Earlier today I "tried" updating my Luminar 3 to the newly released 3.02. I wonder which one truly gets credit for the "first" reference since they are both friends and reach each other's blogs regularly.OK gang, bear with me here. Update: Two references in one night! I was just checking out my friend Tim Sandefur's blog and he has added a link to his LONG list of blog links. I look forward to playing around with my website quite a bit this winter! Learning more inspired me to redesign my website. Because Blogger doesn't have a simple interface where you can enter URLs to have links added to the sidebar, I had to learn how to read and edit the template. And I'm really finding this blogging thing neat. They help me to feel more in touch with my friends since I get to read about their thoughts and various activities. I've really enjoyed reading the blogs that I frequent daily. I guess I never bothered to reassess that decision until recently. I'm thinking that my life must have been filled with drama back then and so that's all I could think that I would write about and just avoided it all together. Obviously blogs come in a variety of flavors, so there are drama filled blogs, but it finally dawned on me that they don't have to be. When stuff is personal, it's typically personal to *that* person without creating the drama of airing other people's personal business. They can just be random thoughts or intellectual debates. Once I finally did, I realized that they're not always about other people's personal business. At first I didn't really read them.not out of protest or anything, I just never got around to it. But then my friends starting getting blogs. I don't know, it just seemed like blogs would be airing too much personal stuff that ought to stay personal (mainly involving other people who may not wish to be blogged about). I don't actually know why since I'm such a technology / communications geek. It's funny, I was somewhat opposed to blogging when I first learned of it. So what is your sitemeter page, Erik? Obviously, it sounds like it tracks changes to web pages, but what is it that you use? Neat! My blog just got its first reference here.
